Shannon Hale Books

Most of us read Book of a Thousand Days for this last month's book group...well I liked the book so well I read "Princess Academy." I thought it was very well written as well. They are like old fashioned fairy tales with a twist. Onto Austenland, Enna Burning, etc., etc.....Any one else read any of Hale's books?

I heard from my friend that has read all of her books, that Austenland and Goosegirl are great. I'm going to read them as well.

Austenland is by far my favorite that I have read so far. And The Goose Girl is really good too. I'm looking forward to reading Enna Burning and The Princess Academy too. Thanks for sharing Michelle. I think what I love so much about her books is they are just good clean fun. Hale is funny, witty, a little dark, romantic and somehow pulls in philosophy into her work too. I think she's becoming one of my fav contemporary authors.

Michelle, I finally got around to Enna Burning and River Secrets and I got to read An Actor and A Housewife while at a friends last month (funny, but very unbelievable, not my fav of her works). Still haven't gotten to Princess Academy yet though. Will do soon!
